About Aceize
History
Aceize is an abbreviation of the words spACE colonIZE. The concept behind Aceize was originally formulated in the summer of 2006 in Richmond, VA by Greg Kontos, Shawn Nash and Jimmy Gilmer, and a shadowy 4th conspirator. This dubious trio set in motion a company that has a 150 year business plan to put a human colony on a planet suitable for human habitat without the need for life support systems.
At the close of the first six months of business Aceize has received $0.25 of private investment capital. All of the original principles of the company have abandoned the project with the exception of Greg Kontos.
Mission and Current Project Goals
Aceize is an endeavor to learn about the technologies that are important to the future space migration of the human race. The idea being that Aceize wants to be involved in the application and development of these technologies. Furthermore, by knowing where humanity is in the pursuit of this endeavor will enable we and our readers to partake in this development and perhaps put together a possible time frame for the development of the required technologies. The list of technologies and scientific studies that we believe are or will be important to this migration and colonization form the backbone of the taxonomy scheme of the site. Further, while researching the topics important in this study we wanted to have a system that makes it possible to easily track similarities, confluences, trends and associations of the information.
Most of the information we are using exists on the web. However, for my research purposes we are condensing information found on the web into only the most important points of the sites and articles to which we link. The intention is to make the information easy to look over for research and trend spotting purposes. This translates to being a human edited summarization service for the aerospace and technology industries. Occasionally trends and detailed information of specific aspects of a subject pertinent to space colonization will be published.
