I'm still trying to let my schedule settle back to a more regular pace so I can post my regular insightful articles. Unfotunately today is not that day. But I've got a few links I've been saving.

AP News -- 'Robots take on social tasks', an article about the current hopeful market for robotics; Moving from the Roomba to more advanced household and hospital helpers.

AP News -- Richard Barriott, creator of Ultima and owner of crazy house, buys a ticket aboard the Russian Soyuz rocket for a trip to MIR.

MSNBC -- Bigelow areospace is doing great. They have it their target dates for development, and have seen success at each step. Unfortunately they currently lack a way to gt people up to their orbiting hotel -- the orbital transportation biz is trailing behind the curve.

The Guardian -- Portugal is looking at an innovative way to generate electricity from ocean waves. This article is on 'sea-snakes' - a floating array of wave pumps and wave generators.

The Guardian -- Are Astronomers getting closer to finding a habitable planet? Or is this guy confusing capital investment with scientific progress?

MSNBC -- The pentagon is re-investigating the old L5 society idea to place huge solar arrays in space. The power collected in space would be beamed back to earth to power remote military equipment.
